2 cups whole wheat flour

1 cup oats

1 cup powdered milk

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1/4 cup honey or golden syrup

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup apple or other fruit juice

Directions.

Preheat your oven to 350°F or 175°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, oats, powdered milk, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well to ensure all the dry ingredients are evenly incorporated.

In a separate small bowl, whisk together the vegetable oil, honey (or golden syrup), and water until well combined. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until a thick dough forms. If the mixture seems too dry, add more water, a tablespoon, until it comes together.

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead it gently for a few minutes until smooth. Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 1/4 inch or 0.6 cm. Use a cookie cutter or a knife to cut out biscuit shapes of your desired size.

Place the cookies onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each one. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 12-15 minutes or until the cookies turn golden brown. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the cookies cool on a wire rack.
